ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Taking inspiration from Agnes Martin's grid art. Artist employs unconventional materials such as corrugated cardboard to create a sculptural sensation. She meticulously applies oil paints, ranging from shades of blue to green , to craft nature sensation that seems to come alive, resembling a captivating dance of colors and forms. "Due to various monitor settings on computer the colors of this piece may look slightly different in person from what you see on your screen".

Noosha Golab, born in 1985 in Tehran, Iran and currently residing in Southern California, sought a departure from her prior intense and inflexible lifestyle as a professional graphic and jewelry designer. This led her to painting, a medium that offered her greater creative freedom. Noosha Golab's work bridges the realms of geometrical and abstract expressionism. Each stage of her artistic process involves intuition and repetition, gradually imbuing her pieces with a profound sense of equilibrium and balance. By choosing paper as her medium, its inherent fragility allows her to create textures and patterns that are visually unique and aesthetically appealing. Through these elements, she conveys her emotions, viewpoints, and unique perception of the world. Utilizing a variety of techniques, including drawing, printmaking, and a method that involves delicately dabbing and rubbing her fingers on the drawing paper, she crafts fundamental aspects of visual expression such as forms, shapes, colors, and textures.
