About The Artwork

In this picture, I play with the basic geometrical forms and with the primary colors, some of them almost pure like the cadmium yellow. The black square is a small but serious character that generates lines in an intermittent fashion. The vertical structures are happy due to its colors. The triangles, sometimes are just triangles, but some other times they are serving to represent other objects such as flags and banners. The little circles are about points in the middle of the landscape. Like Kandinsky, I think that the point is an important element in a composition, as well as the line. The moon has acquired an unusual color to fit with the colorful environment. A couple of rhombuses recall stars. Curves seem to radiate from a truncated triangle like radio waves, trying to warn us with its cryptic sound. The letters and numbers come from a square matrix written in the notation of Cauchy, they have joined the crew with its tone of order and reason.
