VALERA CHARITY MOVEMENT WHO ARE WE? We are the first Ukrainian charity brand that is created with a mission of providing support for birds with disabilities. WHO IS VALERA? Valera is a basic pigeon from a poor neighborhood in Kyiv. Once he got found in a pity situation. As they say “just skin and bones”. Misha took care of him and raised him as a self-sufficient pigeon. Nowadays Valera is the boss of our charity movement. He's always in touch with us - frequently calling and throwing creative ideas that are meant to help his fellas in feathers that are being stuck in an unfortunate situation. Just like him once. WASSUP? The project consists of a series of original three-layer pop art paintings the true hero of which is Valera himself. Each layer of the paintings shows itself in different lighting: daylight, darkness, and ultraviolet. For every piece, there is a uniquely created frame made of an ash tree with an installed UV light stripe and a switch button. There are two ways of transmitting the power: 220 volts (unlimited power transmission) and wireless via power block + charger which are hidden in the back of the paintings (works up to 4-6 hours). WHAT ELSE? We also have designated “Shitty Merch” so that everyone can take a part in a good deed. The central image is a print that has been created by Valera himself. We simply took a picture of “it” and put “it” on our products. By purchasing paintings or something of the branded merchandise you automatically help Valera’s feathered friends.
