This is another of my textured medium painting / sculptures. I just love making art with texture. It does not need many colors as the texture engages the mind and the shadow lines add character. The colors are white down the bottom Dune grey up the top and the SWISH is Pearl white. As a retired builder I make the timber frames and only use a quality marine grade ply as the top surface. I use this combination due to the thickness of the medium, to make absolutely sure there is no movement or cracking of the medium. Just like building really, a solid foundation results in a solid finish. Again, as I was finishing this piece my darling wife walked in and said " wow that looks pretty SWISH' So who am I to even try and contemplate a name change after that, besides LULU feeds me well. This painting is 62 cm wide and 81 cm high and 5 cm deep. It weighs 5 Kgs. On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushions to protect your walls. This painting does not need a frame as the sides are painted.
