Same Day - Different Year Painting

She was born on the same day as me, but a different year. The same decade though, but she was younger. She was beautiful - really beautiful, with an amazing smile. She was so bubbly and full of life. She was cheeky and always appeared to be having lots of fun and laughter. Her friends and family adored her, and for a while she was at the top of her career. Sadly she struggled with mental health issues, and took her own life to escape the unbearable stress caused by fame and the tabloids. RIP, CF. This is dedicated to you, my fellow Scorpio. xxx Mixed media painting of acrylic paint, acrylic ink, acrylic markers, watercolour, collage, transfers, pastel and pencil, on 250 gsm acid free mixed media paper. Signed and dated on the back. Some of the neon colours within the painting are slightly brighter in real life. The pink, orange, yellow and some of the green is painted with neon paint which does not photograph quite as vivid as the original, although overall the photographs are true to the real colours of the original. PLEASE NOTE: This painting has a paper tape border round the edge from the paper being stretched. The actual size of this painting is approximately 1.5cm smaller on all sides. I have left the border on so the painting can be window mounted without losing any of the painting. If you want this image to be float mounted, it should be cropped to removed the paper tape border. The border is not intended to be viewed as part of the painting. The cropped or window mounted size of the actual image without the tape border would be approximately 54 x 38 cm // 21.25” x 15”
