A key element of my artistic practice is a physiologically heightened sensitivity to color — an innate perceptual intensity that has shaped the way I interact with the visual world. This unique sensibility allows me to compose finely tuned, emotionally charged color combinations that form the expressive foundation of my work. Color, in my practice, is more than a formal element — it is a language of affect, intuition, and transformation. I work primarily in abstraction, where the absence of representation opens space for the viewer’s imagination. Without narrative or figuration, the focus shifts to perception itself: to the intensity of hue, the rhythm of form, and the emotional atmosphere generated through painterly relationships. In this sense, my work aligns with traditions of lyrical abstraction and affect theory, which consider how color can bypass rational interpretation and speak directly to the body. My installations often consist of abstract works in diverse formats — oil on canvas, collage, watercolor — interspersed with ready-mades and small tactile objects. These elements form immersive environments, or micro-worlds, in which painting and object co-exist. This spatial approach invites the viewer into a multisensory encounter, where color, scale, and material presence generate a sense of intimate immersion. With a background in psychology, I am drawn to the concept of the “Inner Child” — a psychological construct representing the core of our spontaneity, creativity, and joy. I view abstraction as a portal to this dimension of self. Through vibrant color fields and playful compositional gestures, I seek to activate emotional memory and awaken the parts of us that are most alive, curious, and unguarded.
