ABOUT THE ARTWORK
An archetype of this musician I saw on Chicago’s street playing jazz. I was so fascinated by the whole image, that I took pictures of him for my future painting. The bright color choice and spontaneous palette knife touches and brush strokes expressed the jazzy mood of the painting. Saxophonist can be paired with my other painting Trumpet Player also jazz musician. The artwork is not framed, but has finished edges. Hanging installation included.
