ABOUT THE ARTWORK

One-of-a-kind textured and vibrant abstract expressionistic artwork. Scent of rain - Inspired by the pleasant earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil! The first pour on the dry sand , especially in the this part of the world, where rainfall is very minimal- is truly magical! Being a peninsula and a small country surrounded by sea on all 3 sides, it is pure bliss to experience the rain at the beach, watching the calm sea. This artwork captures the essence of cold drizzles and the warm and dry earthy textures as well! The intuitive strokes and drizzles of paints adds to liveliness of the artwork and the play of mixed mediums like solvents, acrylics, liners and repurposed plastics, adds an interesting texture! This abstract artwork is of size 60X60X3.5cm. It will be stretched and ready to hang. Edges of the artwork will be painted black. The artwork will be signed and dated on the front and the back. Certificate of authenticity will be attached.
