ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This diptych is a simple pun. It's the Eye of Providence, a very noticeable symbol for 'God' among other archetypes, but without a pupil. The title 'Schülerloss' is German for student-less. I've added the German word for magic at the bottom. The concept being that today, we are losing the ability to manifest destiny, or are losing the methods to be taught; traded for digital life lessons. People can however take what they want from it. The style is my own brand of hard imagery over a washy background. I'm happy with the result.
