ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I use a very high quality acrylic paint. In my acrylic I also use a flow medium.I then glaze my painting with an acrylic glaze with a satin finish twice. ___________________________________ Acrylic Paint on stretched canvas, ready to hang. Signed on the front. Painting using my usual style in acrylic on an extra long canvas, I have created this abstract landscape using a pastel palette for softness. I have used soft greens representing leaves blowing in this gentle breeze, where I have captured movement, also using soft white fluffy clouds. This large horizontal abstract would be perfectly suited for an elegant dining room, or a formal lounge, and can even be used in a child’s nursery because of its calming effect, and soft colours. I have double glazed this artwork, with a semi Matt-gloss finish, giving it an overall satin look. This cotton canvas and pine frame made in Finland, is of high quality and has a nice heaviness to it. It is one of my favourite pieces.

In every palette of hues I use for my artwork, I always add a beige hue, to every colour. It tones down each colour and has an overall softer effect. Although white I love to use as just white. They can become a conversation piece or give a relaxing and calm effect to those who enjoy a softer feel of an abstract landscape. Using softer shades can also be perfect for a young childs room, still playful but calming.
