About The Artwork
This work is a diptych. The two panels are board which are independently framed with an inset black frame which has a silver front face. Inspired by a building in Tel Aviv. It shows figures coming and going, as well as those just relaxing at a cafe. It asks the question- who is searching? and for what? The style is somewhat expressive. There is a vibrant underpainting which is superimposed with dark blue and white paint with touches of dark blue pencil detail.
