Searching for my lost stars! Painting

I am Rachana Mathradan, an artist working primarily in acrylic and oil, but my art is much more than just the materials I use. For me, painting is a deeply personal and emotional experience that allows me to express my thoughts and feelings in a way that words cannot. When I'm painting, I feel a sense of pure happiness and joy, and I'm able to lose myself in the creative process. What sets my art apart is the fact that I don't plan my paintings in advance. Instead, I let my emotions and intuition guide me, allowing the colors and shapes to flow naturally onto the canvas. This approach allows me to create truly unique and original works of art that are a reflection of my innermost thoughts and feelings. I find inspiration in everything around me, from the beauty of nature to the complexity of human relationships. My paintings are a celebration of life, and I strive to capture the full range of emotions that come with being alive - joy, sadness, love, and everything in between. As an artist, my ultimate goal is to create paintings that resonate with people on a deep, emotional level. I feel closest to the paintings that have the power to evoke strong emotions in me, and I hope that my art has the same effect on others. My paintings have been sold at Riverside Art Museum in 2022, 2023 and exhibited at Ravivarma Memorial Art, Tustin CA 2023.
