Season 4 was an artistic and technical challenge. I had to go out of my usual processes and exploit the color differently, not planning anything. Everything had to come from a succession of instinctive gestures, each oriented according to the precedent. The goal was to create a work that was as abstract as possible, even if it eventually resulted in something quite vegetal, even floral. The brush strokes testify to the nervousness necessary for my expression, implying a certain speed of execution itself necessary for non-reflection. To be able to vary the keys without changing the brush, I cut a wide brush in bevel, which accentuated the random side of the gesture. Finally, acrylic has been applied only in thick layers, without the addition of water, favoring superimposition without waiting for drying and causing raw and partial melts. https://youtu.be/CNfwkVonBZg

Luc Andrieux considers painting as an opening on the spiritual world that inhabits the universe. For him, it speaks directly to the mind of the one who looks at it without going through understanding, it is a matter of intuition and escapes reasoning. In his achievements, he always tries to bring out a kind of deep truth that shakes the mind. The colors, the light, the matter are assembled in compositions more or less abstract to arouse the escape and the freedom, both correlated to the desire of a dream world, fantasized. Through his various researches, he paints the border that binds man to nature and separates it at the same time, the past and future presence, the imprint, the passage, the presence and the absence of time. Its purpose is to generate an interrogative contemplation, certain that painting makes better the one who looks at it thanks to the emotion it transmits to it. https://www.youtube.com/
