Tamara Andjus (b. 1982) is a professional artist based in Zurich, Switzerland. With a background as diverse as her art, she holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law, yet her true passion has always been painting. Guided by a lifelong love for color, movement, and expression, she eventually dedicated herself fully to the arts. ​ Her works, best known for their abstract figurative style, are characterized by dynamic brushstrokes, vibrant color palettes, and a multi-layered approach to painting. Working primarily with acrylics and oils on canvas, she captures animals, landscapes, and people with emotional intensity, evoking both atmosphere and imagination. Each piece invites the viewer into a world of movement, mood, and open interpretation. Andjus has exhibited extensively across the globe, including in New York, Paris, London, Barcelona, Rome, Dubai, Zurich, and many other major cities. Her art has been published numerous times, and her long list of awards and recognitions has firmly established her place in the contemporary art world. She is represented by several galleries, most notably Fame Gallery in Zurich and Gallery Steiner in Vienna. Beyond her studio practice, she plays a significant role in promoting the work of other artists. Dedicated to fostering creativity at all levels, she has also worked with children in schools, introducing them to artistic techniques and encouraging their first steps into the art world.
