ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The predominantly White painting is called 'Seeds: Fire'. It connects to one of my previous themes of all things elusive and ephemeral. It is also related to the idea of new growth coming out of destruction; in this case the destruction caused by Fire. Seeds offer a promise of hope, of renewal and indicate a connection to the land. This painting alludes to new beginnings, new growth after forest fires and to the current Climate Crisis.
