Seeds Painting

Seed is inspired by Aboriginal dot painting, saturated color, and amorphous shapes. This is painted on what I call Wine Paper (the paperboard used in cases of wine). I used this for its ability to hold a great deal of paint, its texture, and to reduce what I send to the landfill. Upcycled art has many appearances and I want this Wine Paper collection to demonstrate the possibilities of using alternative mediums and styles. The glass clip frame and white matt keeps my viewers focus on the black, red, green, orange, and blue interplay within the art. The original is paint, acrylic marker, and ink on paperboard.
