ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work is impressionistic combining drip & splatter techniques with impasto. This painting was inspired by a field of wild hollyhocks at dawn and looked to me like sentinels on guard duty. The painting is mixed medium, oil over acrylic and comes with hanging wire attached.
