About The Artwork
This acrylic painting is done on stretched canvas 26" x 26" x 1.5". The edges are painted so you don't have to frame it unless you want to. It has a lot of texture. I'm inspired by mid-century color, design, style, architecture, fabric, pattern and atomic motifs. My interest is in transparency and opacity created with rows of dots which I refer to as striations. The striations cross over different surfaces and shapes. My paintings sometime refer to landscapes, but I think of then as purely abstract.
