Inspired by nature and landscape, straightforward abstraction where it is the marks and stains, the combination of contrast and movement that together determine the final picture. I was born and raised in Sweden, and I've been living and painting in Spain for many years now. My painting is process driven and inspired by natural phenomena such as weather processes, the interplay between light and movement in the tree crowns and on the surface of the sea. Current obsessions include patterns, vibrations, colour... My work is abstract, and I think of it as an organic process. There is no previous plan. I do try to keep a sense of a moving whole, offering a somewhat unstable but hopefully vibrant picture to the viewer, as a point of observation and reflection.
