I'm feeling drawn back to painting the female form out of focus. This is the fifth painting in a new series I'm working on. As with all my paintings, this is gallery wrapped, the sides are painted, it's wired and ready to hang.

His early influences as a painter can be attributed to the work of the Fauvists & American Realists of the 60's & 70's. Thomason studied studio art from 1990-97 at Metropolitan State University/University of Colorado Denver under the guidance of the likes of Amy Métier & Robert Mangold.
