In my landscape paintings, I try as much as possible to escape the academic perspective to bring the elements on the same frontal plane, in order to remain at the crossroads between figuration and abstraction. In this work, forms appear in blurred, imprecise contours, eroded by ambient light. The distinction between the earth and the sky is made possible by their respective location while their pictorial treatment is almost identical. The range of colors is limited to better restore a cozy atmosphere, emanating from a sleeping life. The more or less diluted acrylic allowed the melting of glazes and melts relatively quickly, essentially forcing the instinct to guide the gesture. https://youtu.be/MXtoeC6WeFE
