Artist Daniil works under the pseudonym DnIStone. Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Creates projects at the intersection of street art, calligraphy, painting and body art, placing them in an ethno-futuristic perspective in order to re-formulate the experience of a possible post-apocalyptic sociality. In his work, he prefers to use both classical artistic media and building materials, such as aerosols, finished objects and abandoned spaces. His art essayistically places the figures of the artist and the viewer in speculative universes, where the synthesis of the urban culture of Kazakhstan with basic questions about the possibilities and boundaries of the human takes place. The design work involves a combination of pop cultural aesthetic elements such as music, gameplay, and game environment design. The artist characterizes his field of interests as #ethno-punk. Currently, Daniel is working on the development of a personal interactive project "Skull Box". The project conveys the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world in which the viewer was asked to study the history of a man who closed himself in a shelter and was left alone. Body art project NKD is presented in the meta-universe, at the 3D Fashion Gallery exhibition in California. Published in print and online editions of Tokyo, London, Brazil, California and Milan. Art performance The Lines published in online magazines in China and Paris.
