ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With growing popularity, personalising your skate deck is a way to stand out and express your individuality. Having a passion for both skating and street art, this collection of skate decks combines my love of art and design with my love of skateboarding into a colourful depiction of myself. The fourth in my Skateboard collection, is called Bubble. Bubble was my first car, a little red Mazda 121 Bubble that went forever. After many learning curves, accidents, and adventures, 300,000+ kms my Bubble made me the person I am today, it was the best car I ever owned. I have very fond memories of that car so in tribute of my first love, I have designed my latest love of skateboarding, in honour of it.

My earlier works consisted of Zentangle style images in black and white, but after moving to Springfield Lakes in 2019 I wanted to grow my style. I love bright colours and colourful art so I started experimenting with Acrylic and colourful paintings. Pop art has always been a style that has influenced me so I wanted to incorporate this into my own style by including my love for bright colours and intricate patterns into my works. I finally found a style of my own. The inspiration for my paintings comes from activities, skills, actions and animals that have influenced or impacted our lives, and the things that we do in some way. That’s why my works include a lot of cool stuff like playing music, sports and activities, pop culture and popular animals.
