About The Artwork
The Snake, one of Twelve Asian Zodiac Animal Symbols is the son of the Dragon. This watercolor rendering is heavily detailed in ribbons of color and pointillism. in a flat field of ivory white paper, it stares the viewer directly. The multiple colors are not realistic, but are a representation for all snakes, which are a favorite subject of mine.
