Influenced by her Scandinavian background she enjoys a neutral and muted palette. She finds inspiration in the natural environment, decay and weathering, music and emotions. “My process is organic in nature and involves building up and scraping back, using a variety of tools and mediums including natural pigments. I embrace imperfections; weathered and old rather than shiny and new, is infinitely more intriguing to me. With an experimental attitude, I allow for spontaneity and emotion to guide me and invite the viewer to add their own meaning.
