Solaris #521 Painting

Solaris symbolizes the inscrutable by the mind of man being whose ability to influence the environment, to create, to penetrate human thoughts seems to be unlimited. In contact with it curiosity arouses, longing lives and the senses are exposed to challenge from which a human emerges devastated or enlightened. I still aspire towards the reduction of detail, color and light. I visit lands already discovered by Malevich or Rothko. However, those lands seem to be different today. I am looking for variation in a seemingly immutable forms. I'm seeking infinity, in what it seems to be finished a long time ago. This picture is painted on canvas stretched on wooden frame. I was using professional grade acrylics with premium quality colour pigments that have high resistance to fading. I create this artwork by superposing many layers of paint. This technique is unique for myself. The painting is finished with two coats of mat varnish to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust and also enhances the intensity and luminosity of colours. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame. The picture is ready for wall mounting. I have signed the artwork on the side and titled it on the back.
