Solaris symbolizes the inscrutable by the mind of man being whose ability to influence the environment, to create, to penetrate human thoughts seems to be unlimited. In contact with it curiosity arouses, longing lives and the senses are exposed to challenge from which a human emerges devastated or enlightened. I still aspire towards the reduction of detail, color and light. I visit lands already discovered by Malevich or Rothko. However, those lands seem to be different today. I am looking for variation in a seemingly immutable forms. I'm seeking infinity, in what it seems to be finished a long time ago. This picture is painted on canvas stretched on wooden frame. I was using professional grade acrylics with premium quality colour pigments that have high resistance to fading. I create this artwork by superposing many layers of paint. This technique is unique for myself. The painting is finished with two coats of mat varnish to protect the artwork from UV rays and dust and also enhances the intensity and luminosity of colours. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame. The picture is ready for wall mounting. I have signed the artwork on the side and titled it on the back. I have great experience with all preparation needed to guarantee you the fast and save shipment of your artwork.

Jacek Sikora - an actor by profession, painter by choice, traveler by twist of fate. He began his adventure with art by working on stage. Studies at Ecole Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris, and Ecole de Mime Corporel Dramatique opened him to the expression and code of gestures of the human body. The trace of stage work can be found in his figurative works, in which man is always at the center. His artistic path has evolved from acting and pantomime towards visual arts and easel painting. Enchanted by traditional Far Eastern ink painting on paper, he begins his artistic search with figurative art based on monochrome color, in which we find the most characteristic features of his work - color and detail minimalism. Over time, his works evolve towards color field painting, reducing detail from abstract paintings and introducing color to figurative ones, which emphasizes the importance of the symbols hidden in the paintings. Today, paintings by Jacek Sikora can be found in collections in Great Britain, USA, Russia, Australia, France, Cyprus, Emirates and Japan. He lives and works in Świdnica.
