Pop, Primary, Primitive - Contemporary artist painter, working in oil, gouache, acrylic. The subject matter and style of my paintings can vary, but share a common thread, based along the themes of Pop, primary and the primitive. Elements from nature, humans in nature, memories and popular culture, all play their part as inspiration for the work. A native of the Channel Islands, my work has been exhibited in Uk and France. In 2018, Flat Block, oil on panel, was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 250, curated by Grayson Perry RA. Paintings of Madagascar have been exhibited in association with the international Durrel Wildlife Conservation Trust, and Archaeological inspired artworks have been exhibited in France and Jersey.
