Soul Love Soul Power is a painting of a woman appearing from the shadows, and features a quote from Maya Angelou's poem, "Still I Rise". The acrylic painting is on a recycled canvas adding texture to the piece. The words have been scratched to reveal the blue paint underneath the black. The canvas has a 1.5cm edge painted in deep aubergine.

Most recently Stephen's work has been featured in "And Now For The Good News (works from the Annette & Peter Nobel Art Collection)", at the Pera Museum, Turkey. Born in 1962 Stephen is a child of post war popular culture. His creativity began in '67 when his father set up a photographic darkroom in a cupboard under the stairs. There they made primitive b&w pictures, and Stephen hasn't stopped creating since. His work has been collected by clients around the world, and he likes to think his work gives pleasure, entertains and creates discussion.
