I seek, with the act of painting, to represent immaterial and imaginary spaces. These "pictorial spaces" appear thanks to the joint use of painting and color in a universe that remains abstract. I think that abstraction always refers to something that we know then these "imaginary dimensions or landscapes" are aquatic, mineral, vegetable or gaseous in their form and evocation. Graphic and pictorial, my work is personal and that I enjoy sharing it. Here is a new version of "Sous les grands arbres #22", work that I had done in 2015. Many transparencies, kind of prints and traces marked in the canvas. The universe of the forest? Certainly. Many floating and teeming elements as to evoke the many forms of life that reside in Nature. To enhance the many transparencies, I recommend targeted lighting in the center of the painting during its exhibition. This artwork is carefully supervised by a professional framer who works with museums and galleries. Dimensions of the wooden frame : 88 cm x 88 cm x 2.5 cm, Black color. Ready to be hanged.

In my practice, I question the imagination, myths and history that feed my inspiration and create links with reality by producing graphic and pictorial "spaces" with paint. Both chaotic and organized microcosms, these "landscapes" express themselves in multitude and profusion. Water and Color are two mediums I use for seeing better and representing the world. Then I draw, I intertwine threads, I connect the elements to evoke one of the oldest activities of humanity, weaving, whose symbolic value is founding for our societies. I also practice engraving, photography, video and installation. Currently, my work has its roots in the myth of Arachne taken from the Metamorphoses of the poet Ovid. A feminine myth from which I draw the threads to weave them today under the light of our contemporary world, I question the means of expression of women and more particularly of women artists. This project is very large and will require me several months of research and work in different forms. Eventually, I would like to expose it in its entirety.
