This work presents a composition in which modernity and tradition blend harmoniously. The centerpiece is a graceful woman in a flamboyant red dress, which literally seems to be ablaze. The color of her dress contrasts sharply with the pastel background, composed of shades of soft gray, delicate turquoise and bright orange. The woman's gaze, imbued with determination and mystery, immediately captures attention, underlining her magnetic presence. Her slender pose and confident posture add a dynamic of movement, as if she were about to leave the canvas. Graphic motifs in the background, marked by touches of oriental motifs and paint chips, reinforce the depth and complexity of the scene. Singular elements, such as the pins holding her hair in an elaborate coiffure, add a touch of exoticism and sophistication. The artist used a technique of layering textures and colors, creating a rich, multi-dimensional work. Every detail, from the fluidity of the dress to the disparate patterns in the background, is executed with meticulous precision, demonstrating the artist's technical expertise. This painting is more than just a visual representation; it tells a story, evokes emotions, and invites the viewer to plunge into a world where tradition meets modernity in a burst of vibrant color and exquisite detail.

Born in Courrières in the North of France, I share my time between the North of France and Paris which inspires me many urban scenes including café terraces. I have always used oil paint because slow drying suits my technique better. I work in series by inspiring my surrounding, places I go to, objects I own and stage. In the series "Réflexions sur le temps qui passe", I treat the cars and Vespa in the manner of the "vanities" of the past by perforating the bodies, rusting them, thus translating the time that passes and which reduces to few things once prestigious vehicles. The parallel is obvious with our own existence. In the still lifes séries, I stage objects with a preference for metal and glass and using a palette of coloured grey and nuanced white so as to have a contemporary touch. In the series "Mes petites Nanas", I interpret scenes, situations, by putting in scene my daughter who is used to me as model (The comedy of the feelings, or the works on the small girls). Finally, the urban landscapes are inspired, as I said earlier, by my numerous stays in Paris where I live part of the year.
