Recipes 4 Survival is the foundation for a number of spin -off bodies of work I'm currently working on. For this series, 'Brown Baggin' It' I paint ingredients, food & or various sundries onto the brown paper bags the purchases came in. I love how this project dovetails with the mission and central concept of Recipes 4 Survival - to be mindful, resourceful, & economical using materials 'at hand'. "I know it's easy to make SPINACH PIE, I just never think of making it for myself that's why I order it for lunch often" The work is documentary in nature. A field & movement I've been impassioned for a long time.
