ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Spring quartz is a branch of my Quartz series. Inspired by the spring I painted this particular piece in spring season to catch its fresh and vibrant colours without compromising quartz characters. It in fact is a tribute to this lovely season. Its in diptych format on a single canvas.I have used acrylic paints and gels to achieve the required texture. The final coat is done with satin and gloss varnish which protects it from the UV rays and will keep its vibrancy alive for a long time.
