Spring at Bartlett Lake Painting

No matter what I’ve done in my life, I’ve always tried to embrace my endless creativity and passion. It’s in my DNA. I have had a diverse career as a marketing and branding consultant, copywriter, graphic designer, author, professional speaker, singer-songwriter, educator, television show host, and nonprofit executive. I studied music and art as part of my education and I often use music to inspire my art. I frequently use my own photos as a reference, as well as those by family, friends, and excellent fine art photographers who allow me to paint their images in my own style. The resulting art I create transcends the limits of time, capturing a place and moment forever. My goal is to transport people into my paintings, enabling them to engulf the mood, scene, and emotion through light, color, and dimension. Originally from Canada, I hold both an honors Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. I relocated to Arizona in 2004, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2014. I continue to grow as an artist and enjoy sharing my work with an expanding audience.
