I used male and female body imprint to throw uprising spring fever onto the canvas. Shakespeare midsummer night's dream comes to mind as well.

In my view fine arts, dance and music belong together. Since I was 5 years I wanted to be an artist and since that time I also play violin. I grew up In Dresden and was trained by the famous Dresden artist Ingrid Griebel-Zietlow and at the Hochschule der Künste Dresden. In 1987 I moved on to West Germany and from 1996 to 1997 I was a master student of Alfio Rapisardi in Florence. Since 2002 I work as a freelance artist. For over 12 years I dance on stage and work with body painting. From this I developed my own artistic style in which I work with large format images with body prints. Franz Marc said that an artist spends a lifetime working on one theme: for me it is that I test and explore with my paintings again and again who I am, what is in me, and try to balance two opposite poles in my oeuvre. From my current perspective, the essence of us is human light energy. And the force of the heart is able to establish a balance between opposites. My favorite eras in art is the Renaissance, Impressionism and the transition to expressionism. In German history, it is the Sturm und Drang period. Goethe and Beethoven, I feel very connected. In Turin I won an art prize, I exhibit at home and abroad and the Beethoven Museum in Bonn and the Monastery Museum Jerichow have my paintings in their exhibits. Since 2006 I have run my own gallery in Tangermünde. This gives me the freedom to develop myself independently of current trends, which I really enjoy. I do commissions an in numerous public institutions paintings are shown, such as in the new training building of Sparkasse Stendal, in the district offices in Burg or in conference center "Queen Louise" in Tangermünde. I work as quick portrait illustrator during corporate events or weddings and this year I initiated an educational and cultural trip to Bella Italia. I regularly give workshops during the weekends. Art is a medium to me to open up new spaces within my soul and thus become more alive. And I am very happy to have this opportunity and to use it actively. I live in Jerichow with my husband and our two children, who soon go their on way.
