A very recent variation arround the idea of paradoxical winters. We cross sad, cold seasons, not only good and warms. But under the ice and snowy landscapes, secretely the spring, the hope and the revival makes their work. I do like to evocate the complexity of life, and also the hope (symbolized here by the girl, as the nest of the future). To paint her fertility, her life, I like to represent her as walking gardens, in opposition of cold and frightened landscapes. An ode to woman and their incredible power of life, building the humanhood.

I started my profession as a self-taught artist, selling small landscape watercolors, then the characters came to live in these scenes. In various imaginary situations. I think that the taste of stories, especially those of my culture, but not only, have conditioned a poetic vision, a little surreal with accents of nostalgia. And I like the idea that we can, through "little painted theaters", visit our memory, a pay homage those who have gone before us. Adding some layers of poetry and tenderness... A way to poetize the ancestors, ourselves, and make us feel more alive, through secular icons, joyful, unbridled, tender and why not, humorous. This is how I see my work as an artist today.
