About The Artwork

This picture takes place in the collection "Mikhaos" and in the serie "Stairway to..." is painted with palet knives on a 70x70cm canvas, in mixed technique. It is a geometrical construction. The goal is to create the illusion of a stairway. Except the orange square (centered according to the golden proportion) only two colors are used here : a deep blue and a sandy and metallized gold. The successive flat areas are applied with a palet knive and longly smoothed until the desired effect if obtained. This artwork, very characteristic of the Mikla style has been has been made with acrylic, metallic, sandy paints and lacquer. The picture is signed on the bottom right. The finishes are neat. The edges of the canvas are painted black. The picture is varnished.
