I always loved going to the beach and finding these beautiful creatures on the sand at the waters edge. Metal beads were added to give the subject a unique texture and dimension. The canvas is painted on the edges and does not need a frame. It's ready to hang. In making the starfish series, I hope the viewer will enjoy memories of happy whimsical days.
