Starry night over Thames Painting

This stunning painting is inspired by Van Gogh. This is a painting he never 'painted'. He stayed in London as a young man and was not an artist at that stage of his life. He went on to paint 'Starry Night over the Rhone' which is perhaps one of the most famous painting in the world. What if Van Gogh lived longer and his tragic life not cut short at just 37 and what if Van Gogh had some appreciation for his work during his lifetime, would he have travelled to London and looked at Westminster bridge on a starry night? and painted this?. He certainly would have I believe , who knows. This is a tribute to a tortured genius of modern art. True to impressionist and neo impressionist style millions of pixes of paint interacting with light make this painting appear different in different light conditions and seasons. It is fair to say the painting changes colours and perception from dawn to dusk. The painting is on high quality triple primed canvas and materials used are acrylic , gesso and ink.
