Jung Nowak is from the beautiful seaside town of Ul Jin on the Eastern Coast of South Korea. Jung's phenomenal memory of her town-shore-river-mountain childhood colors her perceptions. Resides in Manhattan, New York City, has won thousands of dollars in annual competitions of Fifth Avenue's historic National Academy School of Fine Art. She is a life member of New York's famous The Art Students League of New York since 2015 when she began her career with successful fine pencil drawings. Jung's great-uncle Young Kuk YOO(劉永國) is renown as the founder of modern art in South Korea. Jung studied under Richard C. Pionk, Michael Burban, Robert Cenedella, Paul Ching-Bor, Terence Coyle, Mariano Del Rosario, Costa Vavagiakis, Henry Finkelstein, Peter Hornitzky, John P. Hultberg, Anthony Palumbo, Michael Pellettien, Frank O'Cain.
