ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Still Life can be just about anything - vases, flowers, objects not identifiable, and connections between them. This was a collection of bits and pieces salvaged from the streets of New York! It was a challenge to create a painting from them, one I very much enjoyed attempting. I used a acrylic paint and palette knife, mostly on the flat side so that I could smooth the edges of the areas of color. I hope that the viewer will be intrigued.
