Cape Town born Gordon Williams is a self-made artist who works out of his studio in the house he built in Riebeek Kasteel where he has lived for the last 25 years.
His medium is acrylic on canvas or charcoal on paper and his work is a unique combination of Expressionism and Impressionism.
His inspiration is in the unique and ever changing Swartland landscape and in challenging himself with creating still life arrangements that are anything but still.
Viewers can expect to see work that is bright and bold and crates feelings of exuberance and optimism.
Gordon has since featured in several group and solo exhibitions. His paintings have been bought by corporate collectors as well as private individuals and hang in private collections across the globe.
