ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Stolen, a fleeting moment of time as a flower is plucked from the bush to spend the rest of its life in a jam jar. This painting is an original work of one of my favourite Australian blooms - giant candle banksia. These ones were stolen from my neigbours bush (with consent of course) and bought into my studio as a little jar of golden happiness. Stolen is artist quality acrylics on stretched Belgium linen. It is wired and ready to hang.
