During my residency in Portugal I came across this pigment of Methylene Blue. At the same time I was exploring flooding areas in the river Tejo. There I encountered pebbles struck with lines across. This made me image that at each line there was a traumatic event that took place. Some sort of cataclysm recorded on the rocks and carved by the insistence of river's waters. which changes color accordingly to the surface where it's painted. Oscillating from purples and deep blue to sometimes a sort of green.
