Summer in the fields Painting

I am a self-taught abstract artist. I was born and live in the capital of Bulgaria – the city of Sofia. I hold a Master’s degree in psychology, with a specialization in “Social and Political Psychology.” My professional path is outside of art, but I have been painting from an early age. Recently, I decided to devote myself entirely to creativity and to show my works to the public. I work with acrylic and oil paints on canvas. In my work, I move between abstraction, expressionism, impressionism, and modernism. I am inspired by the sense of relativity and by that invisible force that moves everything in the world. In the process of painting, I begin intuitively, guided by the hand, without a preliminary plan. I allow the energy to unfold on its own, shaping the image. My works do not have a specific theme; they are created spontaneously and allow the viewer to follow their personal worldview and interpret freely. In abstract art the feeling is more important than the object and the explanation. Most of my works are framed with a wooden frame and a passe-partout, because I think this gives completeness to the canvas and to the energy it carries. Instagram: dobromira.art
