Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

The light of summer brings with it this line of colors that are for me like fire, something that burns, that roars from the bowels of my own interior...

As a child, I would frequently contemplate nature from up close and often notice millions of vibrating particles in the landscapes surrounding me. It was as if I was able to enter energy-filled fields that allowed me to see how tiny particles and their movement helped in making energy happen. I never really quite understood what all of this was. However, it wasn't until I reached adulthood that I had what I like to call a 'psychedelic experience' which allowed me to realise that everything around me is indeed alive, in constant movement, in expansion, in contraction and everything in-between and that all of those tiny dots or particles I always saw as a child were nothing more than nature's own energy...thus, in my work, specifically through my paintings I try to express these visions and serve as a conduit to express this contemplated worlds
