About The Artwork
My painting depicts the picturesque little village of Ardentinny, in Argyll, Scotland. The scene depicts a summer's day- with the road dappled with sun and shade- looking towards Loch Long and the distant sunlit fishermen's cottages. Painted this scene as one of my favourite views. Painted wet onto dry in stages- detail continues around sides so no need for framing.
