Sunny sadness Painting

Through eclectic paths and backgrounds, I was born in Baltimore USA. I then grew up in Hong Kong for most of the first ten years of my life. I spent the rest of my childhood, which quickly turned into teen years and young adulthood, in the French country side. Some of my oldest memories go back to me drawing and colouring on sheets of paper scattered across the floor. My imagination running wild with ideas, creatures, shapes, faces and colors. Throughout time, I have found that strong female energies, darkness, deep colors and oddities are what inspire me most. Though, I try to practice and exert all forms of emotions and different styles in my art, mostly from sketching to painting. My inspirations come from many places, like the Horror genre in cinema and art throughout the ages, Expressionism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Symbolism, Surrealism, and much, much more. I was able to develop my artistic skills in the graphic design school called Brassart, in the centre of France, where I studied many disciplines, from sketching and painting technics, to logo, typography and website designing. I equally adore working on digital paintings on procreate and photoshop, vector illustrations on illustrator, and last but not least, set and stage designs mostly for music festivals. In addition to illustration and graphic design, I have always been fascinated with photography. Finally, tattoos are my most recent artistic discovery. Well… that pretty much sums up my brief introduction of myself.
