About The Artwork
I painted Sunset Cliffs, in acrylic, earlier in the year but manipulated this version to add a deep red sunset. The mountains and beach are highlighted with the color of the setting sun. I love the way the mountain ridge came out and it reminds me of cliffs in California, where I am from. I want you to feel the warmth of the setting sun as it closes out your perfect day. The original painting, Sunset Cliffs, hangs across the room from my desk and I get to gaze at it during the day. It always brings a smile to my face.

I love working in acrylics and watercolor. I'd always done oil and pen and ink. I've enjoyed switching to these new mediums as they are much easier to work with.
