Sunset at Jeddah Corniche: The corniche culture is widespread in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jeddah was built first on the bay and later expanded along the Red Sea shore creating a sea front that has become the heart beat of the city’s social life. The Jeddah corniche is divided into southern, central and northern corniche. It stretches almost 110km with numerous international hotels, restaurants, amusement parks, fishing places, picnic spots, museums and mosques. This painting depicts a beautiful sunset and moon rise scene at the Jeddah Corniche. In the foreground there are date palm trees, with swinging branches from the sea breeze.
