About The Artwork
The paintings subject matter derives from a family road trip I did a couple of years ago - going north along highway one in California. Not recalling ever been to this bay, so wether its from a photo I´ve seen or a made up memory I am not sure. I wish this would have been a place I actually went to though. Watching the sunset and going for a late night swim. I tried painting on a colored mdf called Valchromat instead of traditional canvas or poplar and using acrylic markers combined with vinyl (flashe paint).
